Hi Chris - thanks for reaching out! I went to try and add these to our images, but I can't actually see _any_ g6 instances to select when adding instances (see attachment) Is this something you can help with, or should i reach out to marketplace support? Thanks for the quick response. I wish I could help but I have no insight into break fix issues. Could you please open a case with Market Place support and provide me the case number and I can attempt to escalate on my side. |

I'm observing the same issue. Is this related to the fact that g6 instances are only available in us-east-1 and us-east-2 regions ? |

Hey I'd like to tag on to this issue and say that it's definitely a problem. I am able to run Rocky 9 on a G6 by uploading a vmdk and using that but it would be far preferable to use a validated marketplace ami |

+1 on this issue from me as well. I wonder if Neil was trying to update the Rocky aarch64 marketplace entry, which is why it didn't show the G6 instance type? HPC/scientific computing tasks at Harvard use a lot of GPU instances, and it would be very helpful to have the G6 instances available for Rocky 8/9. |
