Description | RockyLinux 8.10 operating system gets stuck during the "booting the kernel" phase with upgraded kernel version "kernel-4.18.0-553.47.1.el8_10.x86_64" for quad socket and AMD EPYC chassis . it either GRUB continuously reboots the system unless you tell it not to and continue to boot or goes to boot into the newly installed update and just hangs at a blank screen. Booting from the non-updated kernel will allow things to progress forward. It successfully booted with older version of kernel "kernel-4.18.0-553.el8_10.x86_64" | ||||
