Thank you for the report! We will get this addressed soon. We actually are planning to generate a new generic cloud image as it's missing BIOS boot (UEFI is fine though), so the checksums will change either way. You are correct that the checksum for latest points to the "Base latest". Anything that has "latest" in the name is actually a symlink to what it refers to. For the regular "GenericCloud.latest" name, that's a hold over for when we didn't have "base" or "lvm" images. Now that we do, "GenericCloud.latest" points to "base" to have it match the previous release. I hope this helps until we get the checksums corrected! |

Thanks Louis :) Perfectly logical explanation about the "latest" bit of the image name. I just noticed the BIOS boot missing as well. I'll keep an eye on the new cloud image before we update the image we offer our customers. |
