Thank you for the report. As you may know, MATE is from EPEL, so we are unable to fix nor support it directly. A bug report was opened just recently about this issue, but there has not been any movement yet. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2279774 I would recommend joining Matrix and joining the Fedora EPEL channel to request information if at all possible.
