| Summary | 0002080: Updating cloud-init on current AMI's change rocky to cloud-user | ||||
| Description | Due to changes made upstream by Red Hat and fixes made by us, the "rocky" user is being changed to "cloud-user" on update, and thus breaking user workflows. Keeping it as "cloud-user" is the intention, but our images should be using the "rocky" user and not be overwritten. https://forums.rockylinux.org/t/rocky-9-cloud-init-update-changes-default-user/8770/3 | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | * Deploy EC2 or Azure AMI * dnf update * Lose access | ||||
| Additional Information | This happens on 8.7 and 9.1 | ||||
