| Summary | 0000100: Signup set password failed with raw HTML on page | ||||
| Description | I tried setting up account "jayvdb" in Rocky Linux Account services, verified my email, was prompted for a new password, and then see this confusing bundle of raw HTML in a light yellow overlay: Your account has been created, but an error occurred while setting your password (<html> <head> <title>200 Success</title> </head> <body> <h1>Password change rejected</h1> The old password or username is not correct. </body> </html>). You may need to change it after logging in.I was able to use the forgot password form to get into my new account. | ||||

Thank you for the report. Upon testing, I am also seeing the same behavior. But it seems that either going through forgot password or just logging in to set the password seems to work just fine. We'll take a look to see if we can stamp out this issue. Setting to acknowledged. |
