Summary | 0009604: man page of rpmdb is inconsistent or misleading
Description | When I type man rpmdb, the man page is describing rpm package. I know it may sound stuip, but I had one colleage that tried to rebuild the rpmdb using that /bin/rpmdb. So could you tell us what is the purpose of rpmdb and why the man page looks like another tool. Moreover looking at RHEL solution for problem with corrupted rpm, they never point to this tool. (efg. https://access.redhat.com/solutions/6903) eg : #> /usr/lib/rpm/rpmdb_verify Packages so So I understand this program is useful but I'd like to know the real purpose of it.
Steps To Reproduce | man rpmdb
