| Summary | 0008614: Incorrect system locale in french minimal installation | ||||
| Description | When you install a minimal Rocky Linux 9.x system with french locales (Français > France) the system locale upon the first reboot is C.UTF-8 and not fr_FR.UTF-8 as it should be (and as is the case in Rocky Linux 8.x). | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Install a minimal Rocky Linux 9 system from the Minimal ISO. Use Français > France in the country selection window. Choose "Minimal" package selection. Upon first reboot : # localectl status | ||||
| Additional Information | It looks like the glibc-langpack-fr package is missing here. | ||||
