| Description | As with the Rocky 8 image, Rocky 9 AMI's are unavailable for selection with G6 instances. These instances are deployed in a couple of regions, though not globally. Uploading a prepped vmdk works, so the OS itself should be workable on these instances. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace/latest/userguide/ami-single-ami-products.html#single-ami-adding-instance-types Since this is for Rocky 9 I figured best to report this here, feel free to remove if inappropriate | ||||

+1 to add both "G6" and its variant: "Gr6". Simple case of needing to allowList these new NVIDIA GPU instance types in AWS Marketplace, allowed instance types. I have a prospective customer wanting to use Rocky 9.x on G6. I got notification from AWS Marketplace subscription(s) earlier today that Alma Linux 8 & 9 have added support for G6/Gr6. |
