| Summary | 0001751: RRL8 Xfce, segfault in Mousepad | ||||
| Description | The Xfce program “Mousepad” has a really strange behaviour in RL8. Well, it works fine - but, as soon as you scroll, using the mouse-wheel, like just 1 click… The window closes/app quits. Output in `dmesg`: [102290.530497] mousepad[82346]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000000000 sp 00007ffc7785cf08 error 14 in mousepad[5581a9b42000+1000] [102290.530534] Code: Unable to access opcode bytes at RIP 0xffffffffffffffd6. // *Very* annoying, when scrollling is kind of a muscle memory thing. :) - - - Since I installed RL8, using the Xfce version - I don't know if this is related to that RL Xfce-iso creation, or (prob) how Mousepad was built for epel. But I thought it's better to start here, and you can push it upwards, if needed. Best regards, · Eric | ||||
