Summary0000160: Rocky 9 GenericCloud qcow2 image does not work
DescriptionRocky 9 GenericCloud qcow2 image does not work: when using it on oVirt or on a plain qemu-kvm it hangs on "Booting from hard disk" forever. Using the same configuration with a Rocky 8.6 GenericCloud qcow2 image, it works like a charm
Steps To ReproduceTry to boot a qemu-kvm VM from Rocky 9 GenericCloud qcow2 image

Hi Marco,

I believe this is due to the current image not supporting BIOS boot. Could you attempt with a UEFI boot and see how that goes?

I am working on preparing a new generic cloud image which supports BIOS booting.

using UEFI boot I'm able to start cloud image. Thanks for the hint ;-)
